I dag er det julaften og 17. mai på en gang

In Norway, we have an expression like the title - it means 17. Of May and Christmas Eve at the same time - something very good in other words.
Today we have that 17. Of May (our national day) and Christmas Eve (Eurovision contest). Eva gave me the idea in the first comment :) It is very suitable to present our Christmas-house today!

When we have visitors, we often take them to Drøbak. It is a lovely little village with great shops, markets and places to visit and small streets to walk.

Of course, we had to visit "Julehuset" - "The Christmas house". They have Christmas all through the year and children around the world write to "Julenissen" in Drøbak.
